Continental Tour send off gig at Machine No.3.

Before we head on an intercontinental jazz journey we will play our original repertoire in our homebase at Machine No3. Pack your handkerchiefs to wave your favourite local musicians and dry your tears as we head off for a two week journey facing the dangers of Berlin to Bavaria, along the Alps past Vienna, through Slovenia and Carinthia.

Influenced by Lee Konitz' trio works and Ornette Coleman's aesthetics the sound is a combination of solid structures and chord changes with various avant garde elements. The trio features Jason Simpson on double bass and Marco Quarantotto on drums alongside myself, Guido Spannocchi, my compositions are focusing on melodies I grew up with in classical but also alpine music influenced Vienna as well as takes on Hungarian folk tunes and work songs from Kivu/Kongo.
