Find a moment of stillness and set yourself up for a fantastic saturday with mindfulness coach and meditation guide Natalie Cristal Morrison. Join her for an accessible meditation session to put you in a great frame of mind and learn practical techniques to apply throughout your daily life.

Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced meditator these sessions are a lovely opportunity to find some space to breathe. No need to dress differently and everyone is welcome.

The sessions are held at the fabulous Rehab medicinal cafe in Hackney, which offers delicious, homemade organic vegan food, invigorating morning tonics and coffee options. You will receive a 10% discount on orders as part of the session. All profits will go to Shelter.

Session starts at 9.05, no admission after that time as it would disturb the meditation.

The 7 Minute Itch is an informal space for experimental performance work which strays into new and strange places - often poetry based but then leaping out into all sorts of ridiculous cross arts mash ups, clowning, dancing, physical theatre, doing odd things with after eights, popping candy, buckets.. etc etc. 

We offer an opportunity for performers to develop their work with us so you can come and check out work as it grows and morphs into something even more wonderful than it already is.

There are 7, 15 and and 30 minute slots of work which is being developed, so come with an open mind and some cash - as it's new work we have a pay what you think it is worth policy .. notes always sound nicer than coins..!

New writing from some of the UK's best new playwrights and audience discussion facilitated by the hip hop philosophy legend Tanga. 

We aim to excite and empower by giving audiences the chance to share thoughts, inspired by important new writing in a friendly, inclusive and positive space.

Akari Mochizuki, dubbed the only professional enka singer in the UK, will be singing her Japanese torch / pop songs, live to backing tracks. The performance will be filmed for broadcast on TV Tokyo. 

Akari has delighted crowds many times at Japan Blues nights at Café OTO, Machine No.3 and regular performances at Japanese cultural events in the UK (Hyper Japan, Japan Matsuri), and across Europe. 

Hosting and DJing on the night will be Howard Williams. As Japan Blues, Williams has been running his cult radio show on NTS Radio for over three years & is responsible for several compilations of Japanese music, the latest being Lovin’ Mighty Fire - a selection of 70s & 80s soul funk and disco. He released his solo LP “Sells His Record Collection” earlier this year (launched at Machine No.3) and appears on the Boiler RoomCollections.
